The soundtrack was created by Leonardo Velasquez composed of recordings I made - of the insides of rusty clocks, grinding against pavement, pounding, and metal coils. The audio was instrumental in building up the tension though repetitious beats and choruses along with the repetition of images and animated actions. The short was specifically about the anxiety of day to day life and the mechanism of routine. It made it's debut at the MOCINE Narrative Film Festival in New York, NY. The cards are sold online on Etsy and also in shops locally through out Portland including Obilation, Flutter, and Ecru. These illustrations began as a series of ink wash sketches and then evolved into fields of color utilizing bright opaques and more subtle translucency. The cards are made of 100% Recycled linen paper with a subtle two sided linen finish.
