Opening Titles for ASIFA
I designed and animated the opening title sequence for the ASIFA Portland Animated Film Festival. ASIFA (Association International du Film d'Animation) is a non-profit organization devoted to the advancement of animation.

I wanted the opening titles to involve imagery that was inspired by the Northwest Region. As I have a penchant for yeti anyway, it was a perfect start. The title opened on a snowy plain and then we see the ground move and it becomes a sleepy, slightly terrifying snow monster. The camera moves into his mouth and we enter a wet, damp cavern with bright day glow walls and fish with the ASIFA Portland logo emerging from the depths at the close.

The sound design was skillfully done by Chris Greene.
